Memory Performance:

The P5E3's Everest memory read speeds are a good deal faster than the P35 boards, but the write speed was slightly slower when left on auto. This could be fixed with some memory tweaking, given the fact that there are plenty of options to fiddle with. The X38 memory controller looks to have a fairly similar memory latency to P35's memory controller too.



Again, the superior memory bandwidth and similar latency is reflected in the Sisoft Sandra scores.
